For the month of March 2010, Gallery Atsui was transformed into Tschaikowskistraße 51 through the work of Mark Neufeld and Cedric Bomford. The artists presented work about the abandoned Iraqi Embassy to the former East German State in Berlin, Germany. The assembled works contemplate the nature of this modern political ruin and attend to what the artists describe as “a dialectic of excess visuality and social invisibility” unique to that site.
